3. User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
• One person may maintain only one account unless explicitly authorized by Bartelex.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Account Verification

• We may require verification of your identity, phone number, or email address.
• Verified accounts may receive additional features and higher trust ratings.
• False information provided during verification may result in account termination.

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

Acceptable Use

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

• Communicate respectfully and professionally with other users.
• Complete transactions in good faith as agreed upon with other users.
• Report any inappropriate behavior, content, or suspected violations.

Prohibited Activities

• Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• List items that are illegal to own, sell, or trade in your jurisdiction.
• Attempt to circumvent the platform to conduct transactions externally without completing the exchange process.
• Create multiple accounts or impersonate another person or entity.
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access or use the Service.
• Engage in any form of fraud, misrepresentation, or deceptive practices.
• Spam, solicit, or harass other users for commercial purposes unrelated to legitimate trading.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent.

5. Listings and Trading

Item Listings

• All listings must accurately represent the items being offered for trade.
• You must own or have legal authority to trade any items you list.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of descriptions, images, and condition of your items.
• Items must be legal to own and trade in both your jurisdiction and the recipient's jurisdiction.
• We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these terms or applicable laws.

Trading Process

• Trades are agreements between individual users; Bartelex is not a party to these transactions.
• You are responsible for negotiating terms, arranging exchanges, and completing transactions.
• We recommend using our platform's communication tools for initial negotiations.
• Exercise caution when meeting other users and choose safe, public locations for exchanges.
• We do not guarantee the completion, quality, safety, or legality of any transaction.

Bidding and Auctions

• Bids constitute binding offers to trade according to the terms specified.
• Once a bid is accepted, both parties are committed to completing the exchange.
• Auction listings will clearly specify the duration and terms of the bidding process.
• The highest bidder at auction close is obligated to complete the trade.

6. Payment and Fees

Service Fees

• Basic registration and platform usage are currently free for individual users.
• We may introduce fees for premium features, enhanced listings, or advanced services.
• Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur charges.
• Payment for premium services may be required through accepted payment methods.

Third-Party Payments

• Some transactions may involve monetary payments between users in addition to item exchanges.
• Bartelex does not process or guarantee any monetary transactions between users.
• You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees associated with your trading activities.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Platform Content

• The Bartelex platform, including its design, functionality, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service.

User Content

Limitation of Liability

• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

Termination by User

Termination by Bartelex

• We may terminate accounts for prolonged inactivity or at our sole discretion.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
